On Monday, Ukrainian Prime Minister (PM) Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly in Kiev, to discuss military support for Ukraine and his country's accession to NATO.
During the meeting, Ukrainian PM thanked the United Kingdom (UK) for its unwavering support and leadership in creating an "alliance of combat aircraft", and its willingness to train Ukrainian pilots, pointing out that the first groups of Ukrainian pilots left already for training.
Moreover, Shmyhal called on UK to tighten sanctions against Russia, including those related to the export of dual-purpose goods, stressing that such measures would deplete the Russian military machine.
