Ukrainian Defense Ministry Announces Stopping Advance of Russian forces towards Kyiv

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry stated today, Saturday, that its forces had succeeded in halting the advance of Russian forces towards the capital, Kyiv, Al Arabiya TV reported in a piece of flash news.

On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned of the outbreak of wars in other regions of the world, as Russia was not stopped and punished for its war on Ukraine.

However, the Ukrainian police announced that 7 people were killed, while five others were injured, as a result of mortar shelling targeting the Makarov district, east of the capital, Kyiv.

The police added, according to the Ukrainian "Union" news agency today that the bombing caused the destruction of residential buildings and an administrative building, noting that it would continue to work to help the residents affected by the bombing and determine the damage caused by it.
