Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov announced that he intends to resign from his post once Ukraine wins the war against Russia.
Reznikov said - in press statements reported by the Ukrainian news agency (Ukrainform) today, Monday - "This is my dream.. I am waiting for the day of victory because that will allow me to sign my resignation papers.. This stage of my life was really a great challenge."
In a related context, Reznikov wrote - in a post on the Facebook - "Within 10 days, our team visited Athens, Nicosia, Madrid and Bucharest. We had fruitful meetings with my colleagues - Greek Defense Minister Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos, Cyprus Defense Minister Michalis Gorgalas and Spain's Defense Minister Margarita Robles, Defense Minister of Romania Ángel Tolfer and their teams".
Noteworthy, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry team visited four countries within 10 days on the eve of the Ramstein meeting to negotiate arms supplies to Ukraine.
