During the funeral of Pope Francis II, dozens of world leaders headed to Rome to pay their respects to the late pope.
However, these gatherings could be a room for diplomatic moves.
Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelensky, met US President Donald Trump before the service, according to Zelensky's spokesman, Serhiy Nikiforov.
Both leaders are currently in St. Peter's Square for the funeral service of the Pope.
The White House added that the two leaders had a private meeting and had a "very productive discussion," noting that more details would be announced later.
This is the first time they have met since that controversial meeting in the Oval Office last February.
