Moments ago, Ambassador of Ukraine to Egypt Mikola Nahorni met today with the Assistant General Secretary and Head of the International Political Affairs Sector at the League of Arab States Ambassador Dr. Khaled bin Mohammed Manzlawi.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the ongoing aggressive warfare that Russia is waging against Ukraine and its devastating consequences on the lives of the civilian population and civilian infrastructure facilities, as well as diplomatic efforts to restore comprehensive, fair and sustainable peace in Ukraine within the framework of the implementation of the Peace Formula clause proposed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The current challenges faced by global food security and effective ways to overcome them, especially the international initiative titled (Grains from Ukraine) was highlighted.
The meeting also discussed the situation in the Middle East region, primarily about the Gaza Strip and the ways to stop its escalation.
During the meeting, the next steps that would enhance cooperation and coordination with the University of Arab States were discussed.
