Today, Friday, the Ukrainian army announced that the number of Russian soldiers killed in the field has risen to 40,500 since the start of the military operation on February 24 until today.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated on its official Facebook page, as reported by the Ukrainian (Ukrainform) news agency, that "the total enemy losses in the period from February 25 to July 29 amounted to about 40,500 soldiers."

During this period, Russia also lost 1,749 tanks, 3,987 armored vehicles, 900 artillery systems, 258 multiple launch systems, 222 aircraft, 190 helicopters, 731 operational and tactical drones, 15 ships, 2,870 vehicles, and fuel tanks, as well as 77 units of equipment. special".

The statement of the Ukrainian General Staff confirmed that the Russian army suffered the largest losses in the direction of the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih.
