The Ukrainian army announced that 39,240 Russian soldiers had been killed since the start of the military operation.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said – in a statement reported by the Ukrenform news agency today, Saturday, that the Ukrainian forces managed to destroy 1,708 tanks, 3,929 armored vehicles, 864 artillery systems, 253 multiple launch systems, 188 helicopters, 2,820 vehicles, and fuel tanks.
It also noted that the largest losses of the Russian side were recorded in "Kramatorsk", "Kryvyi Rih" and "Bakhmut" regions.
On the other hand, Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional Administration Kirill Strimosov confirmed that US specialists are supervising the bombing of the Kherson region in southern Ukraine using the US "HIMARS" missile system.
"The Ukrainians were not behind the bombing of the Antonovsky bridge," Strimosov said, in comments reported by Russia Today.
