At least 5 people were killed and 18 others were injured in a Russian missile attack on the Black Sea port of Odesa in Ukraine.

This came in a statement by Andriy Yermak, the head of Ukraine's presidential office via Telegram on Sunday.

Ukrainian air defense officials also said they destroyed two Russian missiles and two reconnaissance drones today, and a Tu-95 long-range bomber had fired the missiles over the Caspian Sea.

For his part, the governor of Kharkiv said that 3 people were killed and 7 others were injured in Russian shelling on the region in eastern Ukraine on Saturday.

The Ukrainian authorities said earlier today two civilians were killed by a bombing in a front-line town in Luhansk, so the death toll from the Russian attacks today has reached 10.
