British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly welcomed Egyptian-brokered cease-fire between Israelis and Palestinians in Gaza.
In a statment, Cleverly said, "I welcome the declaration of a cease-fire between Israel and the Palestinian factions in Gaza, mediated by Egypt. The cease-fire must now be adhered to prevent further loss of civilian lives."
"UK will support all efforts to promote dialogue and pave a path towards sustainable peace," he added.
