British Prime Minister (PM) Rishi Sunak on Tuesday urged Israel to protect Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank.
During a session in British Housr of Commons, Sunak stressed that the protection of civilians must be a priority, calling for avoiding escalation.
Moreover, British PM stressed that London is opposed to any settlement expansion in the occupied Palestinian territories, pointing out that the settlements are inconsistent with international law, represent an obstacle to peace and threaten the possibility of a two-state solution.
