The UK is not planning to organize any public events to commemorate the first death anniversary of the late Queen Elizabeth II, AFP cited British media outlets on Friday.

King Charles III and his wife Queen Camilla won't also hold any private family gatherings or thanksgiving services to mark the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's death.

Queen Elizabeth II died in Balmoral, in September last year aged 96, a few months after celebrating her Platinium jubilee.

Her eldest son Charles succeeded her on the throne and was crowned last May at Westminster Abbey.

The event also revealed the declaring of Prince William as the Crown Prince, and the Prince of Wales.
