UK King Charles III will follow a new Christmas tradition as he will deliver a Christmas speech from a former hospital chapel.

The location for the traditional Christmas Day broadcast is the Fitzrovia Chapel in central London, which once was the chapel of the Middlesex Hospital.

It's the first time in more than a decade that the Christmas speech was recorded from a non-royal residence or place. It reflects the King's interest in healthcare due to his time of cancer treatment.

The former chapel building is now used for exhibitions and community events.

The King recorded his speech beside a Christmas tree, which was donated to a hospice in Clapham.

The Guardian reported that the speech could focus on healthcare, and medical-related topics and workers.

The speech will be aired at 3 p.m. U.K. time, and it will hail communities that cooperated together in solidarity in the aftermath of the fatal stabbing of three young girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, England in July.

“It is understood the speech will reflect on international, national and personal challenges and how they can be overcome by communities supporting one another,” The Guardian expressed.
