British Foreign Minister Yvette Cooper has called on all parties to respect the ceasefire in Lebanon and engage in negotiations in good faith, as she described it.
In a post on the X platform, she stated that the Israeli military escalation in Lebanon has led to the killing and displacement of civilians, the destruction of infrastructure, and the squeezing of diplomatic dialogue, emphasizing that "it must be brought to an end."
She also stated that Hezbollah must halt its attacks on Israel and disarm.
