British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak acknowledged on Friday the defeat of the Conservative party in the British legislative elections, saying that he bears "responsibility", after a landslide victory of the Labor Party.
Sunak said that “the Labor Party won these legislative elections,” adding: “the British people issued a clear ruling tonight... and I bear responsibility for this defeat."
The Labor Party achieved a landslide victory, ending 14 consecutive years of Conservative party rule.
