British Foreign Office has urged all Syrian parties to prioritize the protection of civilian lives and critical infrastructure to prevent further suffering and displacement.
In a statement published on the UK government's official website, the Foreign Office said, "Following recent developments in Syria, we call on all parties to protect civilian lives and infrastructure to avoid further suffering, displacement of vulnerable people, and disruption of vital humanitarian aid."
The statement also reiterated the UK's call for a Syrian-led political solution to the conflict, emphasizing the importance of supporting and engaging in negotiations in line with UN Security Council Resolution 2254.
