The United Kingdom (UK) plans to ban TikTok from government agencies due to security concerns for the Chinese app, according to people familiar with the British government's plans.

And the “Bloomberg” news agency stated that Western governments have become more concerned about the potential security risk of the “Tik Tok” application, in light of concerns about the parent company, “ByteDance Limited.”

US Congress banned the application from government agencies last year, and the European Commission ordered its employees to remove it from their devices by March 15.

On the other hand, NGOs in the UK and experts are campaigning for the right to work for asylum seekers arriving in the thousands illegally by boat to the UK, to reduce the cost of hosting them.

And amid controversy since Downing Street introduced a law restricting the right to asylum, and after the discussions of the summit of British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and President Emmanuel Macron last Friday in Paris focused on the issue of irregular immigration across the Channel towards Britain.
