The Spanish Authorities stated that the Uefa Champions League matches, which are scheduled to be held in Spain, would be held behind closed doors due to coronavirus concerns.

Valencia are set to host Atalanta on March 10 in the second leg of the Uefa Champions League last 16 and Getafe will host Inter on March 19 in the Europa League.

These two clashes could be played without the attendance of the fans.

This comes at the request of the Spanish Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, who wants to avoid the spread of the coronavirus.

"This is a measure that is consistent with what the competent authorities have dictated to the authorities of those countries," Illa said in Madrid according to Marca newspaper.
