UAE's Al Wahda Sign Omar Khribin Former Saudi Al Hilal Player

UAE's Al Wahda FC announced on Sunday they have signed former Saudi's Al Hilal Syrian international player Omar Khribin until 2023.

Al Wahda stated through their official Twitter account that the Emirati club "signed a contract with the Syrian professional Omar Khribin for two and a half seasons."

Khirbin, 27, will return to the Emirates League after playing for Al Dhafra in the 2016-17 season, before moving to Al Hilal.

Saudi Al Hilal had announced Thursday the dismissal of Khribin before his contract was due to expire in June 2021.

Khribin, along with Al Hilal, won the Saudi League title three times, seasons 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2019-20, the cup competition once in 2017, the AFC Champions League in 2019, and the Saudi Super Cup 2018.

He won the AFC Champions League Top Scorer title in 2017 along with the continent's best player award, becoming the first Syrian player to win this title, and the first non-Saudi player to win the award with Al Hilal.
