Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a phone call on Wednesday with Hakan Fidan, Turkey's Minister of Foreign Affairs, to discuss strategic relations and ways to enhance them for mutual benefit.
According to the Emirates News Agency, the two ministers also reviewed regional developments, including the situation in Syria.
The UAE Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of regional and international efforts to preserve Syria's unity and sovereignty while supporting its people's aspirations for security, stability, and development.
