UAE Foreign Minister (FM) Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed with his Singaporean counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan the current situation in the Middle East, international efforts to achieve a sustainable ceasefire, protect civilians, and enhance humanitarian response to the needs of civilians in the Gaza Strip.
During the meeting, which took place during Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed's visit to Singapore, the ministers reviewed bilateral relations, comprehensive partnership, and the potential for their development and enhancement, in order to achieve the common interests of both countries and their peoples.
They also discussed avenues for joint cooperation in various sectors, including economic, trade, investment, tourism, education, and areas related to the developmental goals of both countries, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).
For his part, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed emphasized that the comprehensive partnership between the two countries embodies the depth and solidity of this relationship, and the mutual keenness to capitalize on available opportunities to enhance it in a manner that supports their efforts to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development.
Moreover, he expressed his wishes for Singapore and its people for continued progress and prosperity.
