A UAE relief aircraft carrying 100 tons of humanitarian and medical aid arrived at Egypt’s Arish Airport on Tuesday, ahead of the shipment’s transfer into the Gaza Strip as part of the UAE’s ongoing humanitarian response under Operation “Gallant Knight 3.”

The aid delivery was coordinated with the UAE Aid Agency and comes within continuing regional and international efforts to support Palestinians and ease the worsening humanitarian crisis inside Gaza.

According to officials involved in the operation, the shipment included medical equipment and healthcare supplies intended to support hospitals and medical centers operating under severe pressure inside the enclave. The cargo also contained nutritional supplements for children and Eid clothing for affected families, aiming to address urgent humanitarian needs amid ongoing shortages of food, medicine, and basic services.

Egypt’s Arish Airport has remained a major hub for international humanitarian operations directed toward Gaza, with aid shipments arriving from several countries and organizations before being transported to the Palestinian territory through the Rafah crossing.

Officials said the latest initiative was carried out in cooperation with the UAE Red Crescent as part of the Emirati humanitarian air bridge established to accelerate the delivery of emergency assistance to civilians affected by the conflict.

The UAE has continued to expand its humanitarian support for Gaza through medical, food, and relief initiatives, with a particular focus on healthcare assistance, food security, and support for children and displaced families.

Operation “Gallant Knight 3” represents one of the UAE’s largest humanitarian campaigns for Gaza, involving continuous air, land, and sea assistance missions aimed at supporting the Palestinian population during the ongoing crisis.

Humanitarian agencies have repeatedly warned about deteriorating conditions inside Gaza, especially in the healthcare sector, where hospitals face critical shortages of medicines, fuel, and medical supplies amid growing demand for emergency treatment and humanitarian assistance.
