The United Arab Emirates announced early Tuesday that air traffic has returned to normal across the country’s airspace, following a temporary disruption triggered by security threats, according to Alqahera News.

Earlier in the night, at approximately 2:04 a.m., the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority had ordered a temporary and partial closure of the airspace as a precautionary measure.

Shortly after, government media reported that air defense systems successfully intercepted ballistic missiles and drones over Dubai. No casualties or damage were immediately reported.

By 3:22 a.m., authorities confirmed that the situation was under control and that normal flight operations had resumed.

The developments come amid heightened regional tensions, with Gulf countries maintaining increased alert levels in response to evolving security threats.
