The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has decided to ban travel for all its citizens who are not vaccinated with the anti-coronavirus " COVID-19 " vaccine, starting on January 10, to preserve the health and safety of its citizens.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation indicated today, Saturday, the requirement to obtain the support dose for vaccinated citizens of the country, according to the national protocol for supporting doses, to allow them to travel.
The Ministry stated that the medically excluded groups from taking the vaccine, in addition to humanitarian and treatment cases, are excluded from this decision.
The National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority and the General Civil Aviation Authority in the UAE announced an update to the travel protocol for citizens to the countries to which travel is prohibited, as of tomorrow, Wednesday.
The protocol clarified that travel will be allowed for citizens who have received full doses of the approved COVID-19 vaccine, in addition to continuing to prevent travel for citizens who have not received full doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
