UAE President, Saudi Crown Prince Discuss Iranian Aggression, Call for Restraint, Diplomatic Solutions

​On Saturday, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

During the call, they discussed regional developments and the blatant Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and several brotherly nations.

​According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the Saudi Crown Prince expressed the Kingdom's strong condemnation of the attacks and its full solidarity with the UAE. 

He affirmed that Saudi Arabia stands firmly by the UAE, placing all its capabilities at its disposal to support any measures taken to ensure its security.

​In turn, UAE President expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s brotherly stance and its unwavering support for the Emirates.

​Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Prince Mohammed bin Salman warned of the dire consequences of continued violations of state sovereignty and international law through such aggressions.

They emphasized that these actions represent a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and undermines stability.

​Both leaders concluded by calling for self-restraint and a resort to diplomatic solutions in order to preserve the security and stability of the region.
