UAE president, Norway PM discuss bilateral relations and regional developments over phone

In a phone call with Jonas Gahr Støre, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, discussed strengthening cooperation and joint work between the two countries in various fields, particularly economic, investment, and development sectors, which serve their common interests and enhance their shared vision for development and prosperity.

During the call, the two sides reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common interest and exchanged views on them, foremost among them the developments taking place in the region, stressing the need to maintain the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and to continue the flow of humanitarian aid to its residents in sufficient quantities through all available means and without obstacles.

Both sides affirmed their commitment to continuing joint efforts to promote peace and stability in the Middle East and the world, and to cooperate in addressing shared global challenges.

They also affirmed their support for all efforts aimed at establishing a political path in the region based on the two-state solution.
