UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed met Thursday with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in Abu Dhabi, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed discussed with the Iranian minister the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support cooperation and joint work to achieve their common interests.
The agency added that they exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues and developments of common concern, and the importance of building on the positive developments that have been achieved in the region for the benefit of its people and the promotion of stability and prosperity in its countries.
