According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), both leaders emphasized that the continued military escalation undermines stability and security in the Middle East, further intensifying regional tensions and crises.
Meloni reaffirmed Italy’s condemnation of the Iranian attacks that continue to target the UAE and several brotherly nations in the region.
She expressed her country's full solidarity with the UAE regarding all measures taken to protect its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its territories and citizens.
Furthermore, the Italian PM expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the UAE President for the care and attention the UAE provides to Italian expatriates residing in the country during these challenging circumstances.
