UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Jeff Bezos, Founder and Executive Chairman of Amazon, during a meeting held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.
The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation and expanding partnerships in key areas of innovation, advanced technology, and artificial intelligence, with an emphasis on harnessing these technologies to support vital sectors including education, healthcare, and the economy.
Both sides highlighted the role of cutting-edge technologies in driving sustainable development, improving quality of life, and advancing human progress.
Bezos praised the UAE’s forward-looking vision and its proactive approach to adopting future technologies, noting the country’s commitment to leveraging innovation for societal benefit.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council; Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; and several senior officials.
