M Glory Group laid today the foundation stone for the UAE's first industrial facility to manufacture electric vehicles (EV) in Dubai.
M Glory is a subsidiary of the TECOM Group, which is one of the largest manufacturing and logistics centers in the region, with an investment cost of 1.5 billion dirhams (about 408 million dollars).
Dubai Industrial City witnessed the launch of the first electric vehicle called "Al Damani" under the slogan "Made in the UAE", which was manufactured by M Glory Holding Group.
The car is characterized by international standard specifications in terms of safety and integrated luxury, and it reaches a range of 405 km on a single charge, and its price is 127.5 thousand dirhams.
The production capacity of the factory reaches 70,000 vehicles annually. The factory extends over an area of one million square feet and can accommodate several production lines that can host the manufacture of international car companies, and the factory is completely powered by robots.
The clean energy plant targets the Gulf Arab and East Asian markets.
