 9th edition of the World Green Economy Summit commenced at the Madinat Jumeirah Conference Centre in Dubai, uniting global leaders, experts, and stakeholders in a collaborative effort to propel the green economy forward. 

Organized jointly by the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), and the World Green Economy Organization (WGEO), the summit unfolds under the theme ‘Bridging the Gap to the Future: Advancing the Global Green Economy’ and is scheduled to run from 28 to 29 November.

This significant gathering converges against the backdrop of the UAE's preparations to host the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28). 

The chosen theme reflects the summit's dedication to addressing critical issues and advancing solutions that contribute to the evolution of the global green economy.

The summit serves as a testament to the UAE's steadfast commitment to international collaboration in the battle against climate change. 

With COP28 on the horizon, the concurrent occurrence of these events underscores the country's role as a proactive global player in shaping a sustainable and eco-friendly future.
