UAE Energy Minister Hails Sisi's Participation in World Government Summit

Suhail bin Muhammad Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, confirmed that "OPEC +" alliance's efforts, the studied proactive decisions, and dealing with variables with high professionalism contributed to the stability of the markets during 2022.

Al Mazrouei made these remarks, on the sidelines of the activities of the World Government Summit 2023.

Moreover, he confirmed that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's attendance at the summit represented a great honor, as the Egyptian state provided a pioneering experience in dealing with challenges at the regional level.

He stated that the UAE seeks to launch the electricity market project, which is one of the important economic paths for the energy sector's contribution to economic diversification and the consolidation of the UAE's global position in the energy sector within the next fifty-year plan.
