The United Arab Emirates is set to host the Egyptian Super Cup in its new format featuring four Egyptian clubs this month at the Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium in the beloved capital, Abu Dhabi.

The participating teams include Al Ahly, the club with the most wins in the competition, making them a primary contender for the title. Additionally, Pyramids FC, a team seeking a new achievement; Future FC, a rising star; and Ceramica Cleopatra, the current title holders, are all in the running. This championship, known for its 90-minute format, does not necessarily reflect the league standings in terms of performance or results, making it akin to cup matches.

From my observation of the Egyptian league, these four clubs possess quality players. The technical staff of these teams has done an admirable job in selecting foreign players for each squad. I would like to particularly highlight the role played by the esteemed coach Ayman El Ramady, the technical director of Ceramica Cleopatra. He has successfully created a well-blended team with a significant proportion of capable players and maintained a respectable bench. He has been instrumental in acquiring Ahmed Yasser Rayan, a striker and top scorer, and Ahmed Gendy, a skilled player with a multitude of talents. Moreover, Mohamed Ibrahim, a pivotal player in transitioning from defense to attack and building offensive plays, has also been a key addition under Ayman's strategic offensive mindset. This approach has resulted in significant statistics in terms of reaching the opponent's goal, as evidenced by their impressive 4-2 victory over ENPPI.

Pyramids FC is a strong contender, while Future FC stands as a formidable challenge in the tournament. I anticipate intense competition among the four clubs and hope that we all enjoy this rivalry, embodying the spirit of sportsmanship as representatives of Egyptian football abroad.
