The UAE ambassador to Israel Mohammad Mahmoud Al Khajah announced on Wednesday the launch of his official account on Twitter.
"I am pleased to launch my official account on Twitter as the UAE first-ever ambassador to Israel," he tweeted in the Hebrew language.
"I look forward to working with Israeli officials to strengthen bilateral cooperation in all fields, and to spread the values of peace and coexistence between the peoples of the two countries," he added.

It is worth mentioning that, the newly-appointed ambassador was sworn in before His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in a ceremony held at Qasr Al Watan.
Sheikh Mohammed wished the Emirati ambassador luck and success in serving his country, urging him to work diligently and sincerely to consolidate friendly and cooperative relations between the UAE and Israel in a way that preserves the common interests of the two countries and promotes the culture of peace, coexistence and tolerance between their peoples and the peoples of the region.
