According to Russian media sources, two drones fell in the Kaluga region of Russia on Sunday.

The governor of the Russian region of Kaluga, Vladislav Shapsha, confirmed the fall of two drones in the Jukovskiy and Medynskiy areas of the region, according to Russia Today. He assured that there were no reported injuries resulting from the incidents.

In a message posted on his Telegram page, Shapsha noted, "A drone fell in the Jukovskiy area near the Strelkovka village. According to preliminary information, no injuries occurred. Emergency services are working at the incident site."

Shapsha later added, "Last night, in the Medynskiy area, within the forest, the crash site of an assumed drone was found. There were no injuries or damages reported." He confirmed that emergency services were active on the site.

Russia Today pointed out that this wasn't the first such incident in the Kaluga region, where two drones fell 299 and 283 kilometers from the M3 highway on June 5th. One of the drones crashed 7 kilometers from the Gizdra village, 220 kilometers from the state border, while the second fell 1.4 kilometers from the Ousti village, 197 kilometers from the state border.

The Kaluga region is located on the northern border of Russia's capital, Moscow.

Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, said on Saturday during a press conference in Kyiv that the counterattack has already begun, without revealing any further details.

Zelensky's comments were in response to his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin's, remarks on Friday about Ukraine's long-prepared counterattack on the frontline. At that time, the Kremlin leader stressed that Kyiv's forces had not been able to "achieve their goals," according to his words.
