Twitterers Circulate Video Bombing at Saudi Embassy in Nigeria

Twitterers circulated a video documenting the bombing of a facility in the Nigerian capital.

The video showed a huge explosion amid the screaming of some people in the street. Bodies lying on the ground in front of the building alleged to be the Saudi embassy.

The shelling that the bombing of the Saudi embassy in Nigeria on Wednesday morning; resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries, the twitterers added.

The Saudi embassy in Nigeria has not issued any statements about the news; confirming that the news circulating is incorrect and that the video clip is old.

The Saudi authorities have never talked about the bombing of its embassy in Nigeria, but it is certain - according to published news - that the embassy was celebrating the day before yesterday, the National Day of Saudi Arabia 89.

Noteworthy, repair work is ongoing at two oil installations in Saudi Aramco after Saturday's early attacks forced the kingdom to shut down half of its total oil manufacturing.

The strikes targeted Abqaiq and Khurais oil installations in Saudi Arabia, sparking concern over the stability of worldwide oil supply, which caused crude prices to rise double-digit.

Abqaiq, situated in the oil-rich Eastern province of the Kingdom, is the world's biggest oil processing plant and crude petroleum stabilization plant with a capability of over 7 million barrels per day (bpd).

The chairman of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, Ahmad Al-Khateeb, has said the kingdom will open its doors to international tourists under a new visa system that allows people from 49 countries to apply for e-visas and visas on arrival.

Al-Khateeb, who made the disclosure on Friday, September 27, said the move was part of the kingdom’s efforts to wean its economy off oil.
