HBO revealed the premiere date for the highly-anticipated TV series “The Time Traveler’s Wife”.
The series is set to premiere on May 15. It consists of six episodes and is based on the novel of the same name by Audrey Niffenegger.
The novel had previously been adapted into a movie in 2009 starring Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana.
It revolves around the extraordinary love story of Claire, an artist, and her husband Henry, who has a genetic disorder that causes him to time travel randomly and without any control, which was often complicated by Henry’s sudden absences and reappearances.
The series features the "Game of Thrones" star Rose Leslie as Claire and the "Divergent" star Theo James as Henry.
It also stars Desmin Borges, Natasha Lopez, Josh Stamberg, Kate Siegel, Jaime Ray Newman, and others.
David Nutter directed the series from a screenplay adapted by Steven Moffat.
The series has been executive produced by Moffat, Sue Vertue, Brian Minchin, Joseph E. Iberti, and Nutter.
