Production has begun on Egyptian actor Ahmed Elawady's TV series "Haq Arab".
The cast also includes Ryad El Khouly, Ahmed Seyam, Salwa Osman, Wafaa Amer, Walid Fawaz, Mido Maher, Caroline Azmy, and more.
The series is scripted by Mahmoud Hamdan, directed by Ismail Farouk, and produced by Synergy.
"Haq Arab" is set to participate in the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
Elawady participated last Ramadan with his wife Yasmin Abdelaziz in the TV series "Darb Nar" (Gunfire).
The series was helmed by director Mostafa Fekry and screenwriter Nasser Abdel Rahman.
The cast also included Soheir El-Morshidy, Maged El Masry, Hoda Eletreby, Iman El Sayed, Badria Tolba, and others.
The series witnessed the third collaboration between Abdelaziz and Elawady after 2021's TV series "Elly Maloush Kbeer" and 2019’s TV series “Lakher Nafas”.
The series was also Abdelaziz's first major role after suffering last year from a near-fatal health scare.
Elawady was born on December 12, 1985 in Cairo, Egypt. He is best known for his roles in The Thief of Baghdad, Mousa, and Horob Edterary. Elawady was discovered by actor Nour El-Sherif.
