TV BRICS Inks Cooperation Deal to Advance BRICS–Global South Public Diplomacy

The TV BRICS International Media Network has signed a cooperation agreement with the Centre for Integration and Cooperation between Russia and Latin America (CICRAL) aimed at strengthening public diplomacy and expanding cooperation between BRICS nations and countries of the Global South.

The agreement, signed on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, seeks to promote humanitarian, economic, cultural and educational cooperation while fostering stronger people-to-people ties between Russia, Latin America and other developing regions.

Under the partnership, TV BRICS will provide media and communication support for CICRAL initiatives, helping to increase awareness of opportunities for collaboration among BRICS countries and Global South partners.

Officials from both organizations said the agreement would support scientific exchanges, youth initiatives, cultural dialogue and business cooperation, while enhancing mutual understanding among participating countries.

The deal reflects growing efforts by BRICS-linked institutions to expand international engagement and strengthen cooperation networks across emerging economies at a time of shifting geopolitical and economic dynamics.
