Abu Dhabi is set to host the I-Film Festival from 11 to 13 April, a major cultural event organised by the Innovative Film Academy (IFA), according to "TV BRICS".
TV BRICS will join as an official media partner and will present two original documentary productions in the competition lineup: Uralian Anomaly and Partitura. Young Music of Russia.
Uralian Anomaly (2025), directed by Andrey Porshnyak and written by Ksenia Komissarova, explores the life of geologists, innovative gold mining technologies, and the rich natural resources of the Urals.
Filmed in Russia’s Sverdlovsk Region, a key mining hub, the documentary was previously showcased at the international festival Rendezvous with Russia: Siberian Character.
The second entry, Partitura. Young Music of Russia, celebrates emerging musical talent from the III All-Russian Competition of Young Composers Partitura, held in Moscow with the support of TV BRICS. Directed by Ivan Zakharenko, the film premiered on 28 February 2025 and highlights the creativity of Russia’s next generation of composers.
The I-Film Festival will gather filmmakers, media professionals, and creatives from around the world. On 12 April, a panel discussion titled Media, Education & Talent Development: Embracing Technological Advancement & Future Trends will feature industry leaders, including Konstantin Khasanov, International Projects Manager at TV BRICS. The program also includes masterclasses, roundtables, and discussions on the influence of new technologies on film production.
