Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that Türkiye has decided to completely sever economic and trade ties with Israel and has closed its airspace to Israeli aircraft. He added, "Our efforts continue with Qatar and Egypt to find a radical solution to the Palestinian issue."
Fidan stressed that Israeli plans are continuing to occupy all of Gaza, and that it wants to eliminate the two-state solution with unlimited American support.
He said, "Israel's goal is clear: to make Gaza uninhabitable in order to force the people to leave," noting that "Israel's refusal to allow aid into Gaza has led to the deaths of thousands of Palestinians as part of a policy of starvation."
