Turkish Foreign Minister (FM) Hakan Fidan praised the strong ties between Egypt and Turkey, affirming that both countries have made significant progress in various areas of bilateral cooperation.
In a joint press conference with his Egyptian counterpart, he noted that trade exchange between the two nations reached $9 billion in 2024, with the aim of increasing it to $15 billion in the coming years.
Moreover, Fidan said he discussed numerous shared issues with Abdelatty, emphasizing that there is a great convergence of views between Egypt and Turkey on many regional matters.
