Turkish Ambassador to Cairo Salih Mutlu Şen has described Egypt’s North Coast as a dynamic emblem of the country’s modern transformation.
In a recent statement, he noted the region’s growing prominence as a seasonal hub for government activity and social engagement.
Taking advantage of the July 23rd public holiday, Şen travelled from Alexandria to Marassi, a coastal destination adjacent to the rapidly developing city of New Alamein.
He observed that during the peak summer period, numerous public institutions temporarily shift their operations to this area, underscoring its rising administrative and cultural relevance.
Şen referred to Alamein, Marassi, and Ras El Hikma collectively as a reflection of the "new Egypt," highlighting the North Coast’s evolving role in shaping the country’s socio-economic and political landscape.
