The Turkish Ambassador to Egypt reaffirmed his country’s firm stance on the Gaza crisis, emphasizing that “we want Gazans to return to their homes” and “we do not want them to leave their homeland.” He stressed that “Palestine belongs to Palestinians” and confirmed that Turkey’s first aid ship will soon arrive at Egypt’s Arish Port to deliver urgent humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza.

The ambassador also highlighted Ankara’s support for the recent ceasefire efforts, praising the joint mediation led by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States. He added that “President Erdoğan made a great contribution to the achievement of the ceasefire”, describing the agreement as “an Eid gift to us all.”

According to the ambassador, Turkey continues to coordinate closely with Egypt and other regional partners to ensure sustained humanitarian relief and a lasting truce that allows Gazans to return safely to their lands. He reiterated that Turkey stands firmly with the Palestinian people and supports all efforts aimed at peace and justice in the region.

The upcoming Turkish aid shipment, expected to dock in Arish soon, forms part of Turkey’s broader humanitarian operation to deliver food, medicine, and emergency supplies to civilians in Gaza affected by months of conflict.
