Turkey’s ambassador to Egypt Salih Mutlu Şen hosted prominent Egyptian Quran reciter Ahmed Naina at the Turkish Embassy in Cairo.
The ambassador expressed his pleasure at receiving Sheikh Ahmed Naina, widely regarded as a successor to the legacy of legendary reciter Abdul Basit Abdus Samad.
Şen said he was honored to welcome the distinguished reciter and noted that he enjoyed listening to his recitation and discussing various topics during the meeting.
The visit highlighted the cultural and religious ties between Egypt and Turkey, as both sides praised the role of Quran recitation in preserving Islamic heritage and spiritual traditions.
