Turkish ambassador in Cairo Salih Mutlu Şen said: "I’m pleased to see Turkish students coming to Egypt to study Arabic and support their efforts."

In a post on " X", he added: " I also hope more of our students will enroll at Al-Azhar University to pursue undergraduate degrees in both Islamic studies and the natural sciences."

" It was a pleasure to hear that students from Şehit Mehmet Güder Anadolu İmam Hatip High School have traveled to Cairo, accompanied by their teachers and administrators, to enhance their Arabic skills."

" These bright, enthusiastic young people, aged 15 to 18, are eager to dive into Egypt’s culture and history. During our meeting at the Embassy Residence, I took the time to listen to them first. I greatly appreciated their initial impressions of Egypt, especially their recognition of the deep ties between the two nations," the ambassador said.

He stressed: " I encouraged them to visit the Citadel of Saladin, home to the Mehmet Ali Pasha and Hadım Süleyman Pasha mosques, as well as the Tulunid Mosque, the Sultan Hassan Mosque, and the Imam Shafi Mosque and Tomb, which they haven’t yet had the opportunity to explore."
