Turkish Ambassador to Cairo Salih Mutlu Şen extended heartfelt congratulations to Egypt on the 52nd anniversary of the glorious October 6th victory.
The ambassador's message was addressed to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the esteemed Egyptian people, and the brave Egyptian army, which was hailed as the "shield of the Egyptian state and a source of its pride and dignity."
The message highlighted that through this historic victory, Egypt successfully liberated its pure land, the sacred Sinai Peninsula, from Israeli occupation, compelling Israel to turn towards peace.
The ambassador also paid tribute to the late President Anwar Sadat, who "ignited the spark of the 1973 war to liberate Egyptian land and pave the way for peace in the Middle East."
Moreover, the statement also honored all the martyrs and wounded of that glorious war, who "wrote an immortal page in the history of the nation with their blood."
Furthermore, Turkish ambassador expressed hope that, with the active and constructive support of Turkey, along with Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, the oppressed people of Gaza will attain their right to a dignified life.
The message concluded by wishing for peace and security for the fraternal Palestinian people and the establishment of their independent, sovereign state, which would "solidify a just and lasting peace in the Middle East."
