The prestigious Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, the world's leading corporate golf tournament, stopped in Cairo on October 19, 2024, at the renowned Katameya Dunes.
This marks the 97th tournament of the series, which spans 118 events across 67 countries. Since its inception in 2013, the competition has grown to include over 8,000 players globally.
Cairo’s tournament saw local business leaders and golf enthusiasts gather. Ronny Farag emerged as the city’s champion, securing 40 points.
He will now represent Cairo at the Grand Finals in Türkiye, competing for top honors alongside winners from other international tournaments. Runner-up Leo Lee and third-place Alexandre Eidt also showcased impressive performances.
Other notable winners included Islam Emad and Yun Nam Choi in the Closest to the Pin competitions, while Ronny Farag also claimed the lowest gross score with 33 points.
The Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Grand Finals will take place at the luxurious Gloria Serenity Resort and Gloria Golf Club on the Turkish Golf Coast, with all finalists enjoying Turkish Airlines' premium Business Class experience en route to Türkiye.
