Turkey issued an official notice for a four-day firing exercise around its Black Sea coast next week, according to media reports.

The Turkish exercises will be held in Sinop from October 13 to 16, according to the country's marine ocean administration.

This comes against the background of media reports that the Turkish army had transferred the "S-400" systems to the Samsun governorate.

In this regard, activists circulated footage showing a convoy carrying components of the Russian-made defense systems as it was heading towards the neighboring Sinop province.

The Russian S-400 air defense systems caused a crisis in Turkey’s relations with the United States in mid-July 2019.

Washington demanded that the deal be abandoned and the purchase of US Patriot systems in return, threatening to delay or even cancel the sale of the latest F fighters. -35 to Turkey, as well as imposing sanctions.

However, Ankara refused to make concessions and continued negotiations on an additional batch of S-400 systems.
