The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) stated that Turkey will keep groups of Syrian fighters in Nagorno Karabakh, despite the agreement reached between the two sides.

It is worth noting that Turkey claims that these fighters belong to the Caucasus region and other areas there. However, SOHR sources confirm that they are pro-Turkey Turkmen fighters.

SOHR has monitored the arrival of 30 fatalities of pro-Turkish in Syria after they died in earlier in Nagorno-Karabakh wars.

According to SOHR's statistics, the death toll of the Turkish-backed mercenaries has reached 293 dead, including 225 fighters whose bodies were brought to Syria.

Also, the total number of Syrian fighters sent to Nagorno-Karabakh battles has reached 2,580, of whom 342 fighters returned to Syria after they had given up.
