Syrian opposition sources said on Monday that a Turkish military convoy entered the "Putin - Erdogan" area through the Kafr Lusin border crossing north of Idlib, according to Skynews Arabia.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that the military convoy headed towards the Joseph area in Jabal Al-Zawiya, where it is likely that the Turkish forces will be deployed.

Meanwhile, Turkish vehicles loaded with military equipment and soldiers arrived in the Kadura area, located in the eastern part of Jabal Al-Zawiya, near the highway between Aleppo and Damascus.

Earlier, SOHR stated that the Turkish forces stationed in the checkpoint "Morek", controlled by the government forces in the northern Hama countryside, began to dismantle their equipment and pack their luggage in preparation for the withdrawal from the checkpoint, which is considered the largest military point in the northern Hama countryside, where it has been present for about 2 years and 4 months.

This operation comes despite repeated statements by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that government forces must withdraw from all areas they have controlled since April 2019, promising to expel them from those areas, if they do not withdraw.
